I feel so grateful to have been given the opportunity to try out Forever Living's shampoo*, conditioner* and moisturiser*. Now, this blog post has been a long time in coming. I was waiting for myself to organise a haircut, finish my essays and attempt to somewhat decide on what to do with my first summer which won't lead to further education (not that I'm panicking, but my future is this massive blank expanse of nothing!). I'm in the last month of the final year of my degree, so as you can imagine, the blog has been pushed right onto the back burner. But never fear, I've got some super exciting posts lined up for this summer.

So, what was my first impression of Forever Living? I feel as though half of my friends on Facebook have at some point attempted to be a brand ambassador for the company, but I was pretty excited when Elsa, a representative, approached me about a collaboration. This is my first 'real' blog collaboration and I was really excited to try the products and get cracking on writing this up.

I've only ever heard of and never really experienced the idea of hair being "squeaky clean" ... that is until I tried Forever Living's shampoo and conditioner. Although this may sound rather uncomfortable, it was in fact rather refreshing. For the first time in a long time I felt as though the build up of product in my hair had been removed, so it gave my hair a chance to breathe a bit. I would recommend using this once or twice a fortnight if you want to keep your hair in really top condition, as it makes sure that products aren't sitting in it for weeks. One word of warning though: remember to use a heat protection product after washing if you intend on hair drying it, as this gives no coverage, and you don't want to negate all the healthy benefits of the shampoo and conditioner! The results from these products reminds me of how my hair feels after using a LUSH solid shampoo and conditioner

I also tried Forever Living's moisturizer - this is designed for your face rather than body. I have combination to oily skin, so moisturizers can be a bit hit and miss for me, and often result in breakouts. However, this one provided great coverage, and I would recommend it for use in the evening as it's a bit too heavy for the day. Our skin loses most of its moisture overnight, so this would be a great way to ensure that your skin retains some! The addition of collagen and elastin in this product also makes it great if you're trying to reduce fine lines and wrinkles.

All in all, I loved trying out these products and I'm definitely going to consider picking up some shampoo and conditioner! It was so refreshing, especially as it's getting hotter and it made my hair feel light and soft, and I knew it wasn't stuffed with chemicals!

Benefits of Aloe Vera:

Promotes hair growth
Relieves itching and helps fight against psoriasis
Anti-inflammatory
Reduces dandruff
Helps hair retain moisture
Strengthens hair

  2. Sounds awesome. I like a nice squeaky clean hair, but like you said it can be damaging if used every day. :]

    1. As long as you used heat protection afterwards before drying your hair it would be fine :)
