Stationary Whore | A Paperchase Haul

Whilst catching up with one of Dorkface's blog posts last week, I came across the phrase "stationary whore", and think I fell in love with words. That is exactly what I am. From meal planners, to a writing set (which obviously gets used SO often), I have about every type of stationary possible in a drawer ... or two ... upstairs. And Paperchase is my my main port of call. Stepping in there is a stationary whore's dream: the scent of paper wafting through the air, beautiful patterns all around, and things you never even knew you needed until you saw them (I mean, what was my life before I bought a seal shaped rubber, right?!)

So, as I joined the Christmas hype way back at the beginning of September - cold weather = Christmas, duh - I popped into Paperchase to pick up some supplies. These Christmas cards made it to the top of my must-buy list, and they're perfect for this year, the first year I'll be writing my own cards, rather than just letting my mum sign my name at the bottom of the family one! The Reindeer glasses ones are my personal favourite, and come from Paperchase's charity Christmas card range, but I still love the let it snow bunny  and Christmas owls packs.

This Autumn/Winter also marks the first year that I've not been in education for as long as I remember. I felt at a bit of a loss wandering into Paperchase with all the back to school/college/uni signs everywhere and not picking anything up. So, being the stationary whore I am I decided to pick up a folder and the prettiest pencil case I've seen in a while to help keep me organised when I tutor.

What's your stationary weakness?
