Reading in Heels February Subscription Box

Reading in Heels February Subscription Box

It's so cold and bleak outside, so I've got *the* cosiest post to share today. Last month I tried out my first Reading in Heels sub box and loved it (you can see the post on it here). This subscription box costs £10 and you get a book alongside 4 or 5 goodies to go with it. Basically it's my dream?? It's something that I was so SO excited to get in the post this month, and the little treats are things that I'm using gradually as the month wanes on.

This month's book is Based on a True Story by Delphine de Vigan. It took me a while to realise that this really was the title of the book ... It's a psychological thriller all about a woman whose friend starts to be more than inspired by her, mimicking parts of her personality and even pretending to be her. It sounds pretty creepy to me, and as I haven't read a good psychological thriller in a long time I can't wait to get stuck into this one.

One of the reasons why I'm loving this box so far is that the goodies are all things I would actually use. The sea salt dark chocolate from Love Cocoa didn't *quite* survive long enough for the photos. I've never heard of this brand, but it was founded by a descendent of the original Cadbury founder. Love Cocoa seeks to go back to the ethical roots that Cadbury has lost over time. The packaging is so pretty, and the quality of the chocolate is dreamy.

To go with this lil snack, we have some Kusmi tea. The box contained a packet of 'Sweet Love' (black tea, guarana, spices and pink pepper) and 'Blue Detox' (Pineapple-flavoured blend of green tea, mate and herbs). I really need to dig out my loose leaf tea strainer and try these!

My favourite treat from February's box has to be the Scentered Love therapy balm. It's almost like a little stick of lip balm, but it's packed full of rose, patchouli and cedarwood essential oils. You rub it on your pressure points in your wrists, temples and neck, and it's designed to help restore a sense of inner peace. I've been using this on my most stressful days to help bring a little calm into my life, and it really has been helping.

Finally, we have la potion infinie, a face, eyes and neck cream from Argentum. I love the black pot it comes in - simple, but it feels like such a good quality. I'm a sucker for not moisturising my face whenever I go away because I don't want to take a big tub, but this is small enough to take anywhere, and smells SO GOOD.

As it's nearly the end of the month now (how?!), I'm already looking forward to the next box arriving in early March. I can't wait to see what it brings.
